Microchip’s SmartDiscover offers a comprehensive approach to interacting with nearby Microchip Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripherals. It facilitates scanning and establishing connections with these devices, as well as monitoring BLE broadcast messages. Upon connecting to a BLE peripheral, the application allows for the full discovery of available services and characteristics. Users can perform read and write operations or enable notifications on supported characteristics as required. Additionally, the software enables inspection of standard advertising data types present in the broadcast messages from discovered BLE devices.
